Our Beliefs

We are proud to be part of the Methodist Church, a movement which has a long history of serving the communities of the North East and an emphasis on God's grace, his unconditional love, which was demonstrated most powerfully in the death of Jesus Christ and the hope that we see in the resurrection of Jesus. The Methodist Church is one of the largest Christian movements in the world with almost 40 million members world wide.

 

Our beliefs and our practices are based on the bible. We believe that life is only lived to its fullest when we are in relationship with God, that Jesus Christ came into our world to reoncile us to God and that reconciliation with God through Jesus is available to everyone. God accepts us just as we are but puts his Spirit in us to transform us, to make us new!
