In light of the current guidelines issued by the government and by The Methodist Church regarding the impact of Covid-19 we have taken the decision not to gather in REfUSE on a Sunday evening until further notice. We believe that this decision is the best way in which we can fulfil the command to 'Love God and love our neighbour', by being part of the global move to limit the spread of the virus and protect the most vulnerable in our communities. Situations like the one we are facing bring home the importance of community and the need 'love one another' in practical ways. If there is anyone who needs support or help please get in touch.
If you would like to know more about being a Christian and the hope that we have in Jesus, or be part of an online gathering for worship, please get in touch using one of the methods on our contact page.
27th November 2016 - Don't second guess God and accept 100% of the good news.
Eunice Palmer has learned to go with the prompting of the Holy Spirit and not to try and second guess God. When she goes with the prompting she finds that she is led into various opportunities where she can serve, minsiter and bear witness. In Trusting God she has learned that our faith doesn't make us immune from lifes difficulties but rather that God is with us in those difficulties.
