Baptisms

In Acts 16 Lydia is identified by her origin and her job, a seller of purple cloth, and the Philippian jailer is identified by his job, keeping prisoners locked up. After responding to the good news about Jesus, their identities are in Jesus, who they are is defined by their relationshup with him. Both Lydia and the Jailer decide to become Jesus followers and they and their households are baptised. It was privilege to share in the baptisms of people making the same decision to follow Jesus today.
