Is faith like a Bungee Jump, the first step often the most challenging, followed by a sense of freedom but a total dependency on something or someone other than ourselves? As we step out as Christian disciples we experienece a freedom like no other freedom, but a freedom that is dependent on our trust in God. As the hymn writer declared "make me a captive Lord and then I will be free". Ian Stimpson used his experience of a Bungee jump in New Zealand as a metaphor for his faith journey.
